
The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago is pleased to welcome applications for its Creative Residency Programme 2026-2027
The Creative Residency Programme (CRP)
The programme offers the award of two, 1-year residencies for local creatives in the visual and performing arts spheres, respectively, with the opportunity to work alongside professionals in fields related to the arts. The experience will span museum management and curating, art history, auditorium management, sound and lighting design, video production, stage management, and more. The programme will see both residents engaged in a mix of planned workshops, mentorship and learning sessions, and self-led research and writing, the outcome of which will yield a final public production developed jointly by the residents.
Eligibility and Application Criteria
To be eligible for the Residency, applicants must meet the following criteria:
(i) Must be citizens of Trinidad and Tobago, 35 years and under as at May 1, 2026
(ii) Must have completed studies in the fields of the visual arts or performing arts at any accredited local, regional or international tertiary education institute within the last 0 – 5 years OR an equivalent amount of certification and/or experience in their chosen field;
(iii) Be able to work full-time at the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago for one year from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027,
(iv) Active involvement in community service will be considered an asset.
Prospective applicants are advised to note that the selection process will include the following:
(i) Submission of an application form that includes a portfolio of your creative work;
(ii) A selection interview conducted by a panel comprising representatives of the Central Bank as well as other external bodies;
